Can't Wait Wednesday (9)

Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly theme that I made. It was inspired by "Waiting On Wednesday" over at Breaking The Spine. Basically what "Can't Wait Wednesday" is about, is that I showcase a book that I can't wait to be released. I also showcase a book that is already released, but I can't wait to read.

This weeks to be released book is Crewel by Gennifer Albin. This is the first book in the Crewel World series.

Incapable. Awkward. Artless.

That’s what the other girls whisper behind her back. But sixteen year-old Adelice Lewys has a secret: she wants to fail.

Gifted with the ability to weave time with matter, she’s exactly what the Guild is looking for, and in the world of Arras, being chosen as a Spinster is everything a girl could want. It means privilege, eternal beauty, and being something other than a secretary. It also means the power to embroider the very fabric of life. But if controlling what people eat, where they live and how many children they have is the price of having it all, Adelice isn’t interested.

Not that her feelings matter, because she slipped and wove a moment at testing, and they’re coming for her—tonight.

Now she has one hour to eat her mom’s overcooked pot roast. One hour to listen to her sister’s academy gossip and laugh at her Dad’s stupid jokes. One hour to pretend everything’s okay. And one hour to escape.

Because once you become a Spinster, there’s no turning back.

This book looks so good. I can't decide if this book is dystopian or si-fi or a little bit of both, If this book is si-fi, then I will still read it because it looks so good. Which says a lot on how much I want to read this, because I do not like si-fi, at all, I just don't. So, I really, really want this book.

This week's already released book is Everneath by Brodi Ashton. This is the first book in the Everneath series.

                              **************************

I have heard so many great things about this book, but I have never even tried to get a copy of this book for one reason, any book having something to do with time, I just don't like. For example, a book about time travelers or about a girl who wakes up from a coma that she has been in for 5 years just doesn't sound interesting to me. So, when I read that she was stuck in the everneath for 100 years prior to the start of this book, I am like nope and never got the book, but a few days ago I got the sample for this book on nook and LOVED it. So, now I need this book, NOW.

So, those are the books I can't wait for.
What books can't you wait for???
Happy reading
