Can't Wait Wednesday (6)

Can't Wait Wednesday is a weekly theme that I made. It was inspired by "Waiting On Wednesday" over at Breaking The Spine. Basically what "Can't Wait Wednesday" is about, is that I showcase a book that I can't wait to be released. I also showcase a book that is already released, but I can't wait to read.

This weeks to be released book is The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa. It is the first book in the Call Of The Forgotten series.

Released date: October 23rd 2012

Publisher: Harlequin Teen

                                      Goodreads summary

Don't look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them.

That is Ethan Chase's unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he's dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

My name is Ethan Chase. And I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday.

I loved Julie Kagawa's Iron fey series so much, and when I saw that she was coming out with a new series I let out an inhuman shriek. I need this book so bad. It helps a lot when the summary is so incredible awesome.

This weeks already released book is The Lightning Thief  by Rick Riordan. This is the first book in the Percy Jackson and The Olympians.

Released: April 1st 2006

Publisher: Disney Hyperion Books

                                  Goodreads summary

Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school... again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus' master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect.

Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus' stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves

                                   ****************************

I have heard nothing but praise for this book. It seems like every signal person who have read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series has loved it and I need a good series to read. So, I want to try this series and see if it is as good as some reviewers make it sounds.

That is all today. Come back tomorrow for a book review.
